About this driver
Intel Wi-Fi 6 AX201 is one of the most common laptop wireless cards (used in Dell, Lenovo, HP, Asus laptops from 2020 onwards). The driver determines Wi-Fi stability, Bluetooth performance, and roaming behavior.
Common issues include: random Wi-Fi disconnects on Windows 11, 5GHz band not detected, Bluetooth pairing failures, and slow speeds despite good signal. Most are resolved by updating to the latest driver from Intel directly (not Windows Update).
Installation steps
Confirm Your Wi-Fi Card Model
Open Device Manager → Network adapters. Look for 'Intel(R) Wi-Fi 6 AX201' or similar. The exact model matters — Intel has AX200, AX201, AX210, etc.
Download from Intel
Visit Intel's Download Center, search for your card model + 'Windows 11' (or Windows 10). Download the latest driver package.
Install via Standalone Installer
The downloaded file is usually an executable (.exe) — run it. The installer handles uninstall of the old driver and install of the new one automatically.
Restart and Reconnect
After installation, restart your PC. You may need to re-enter your Wi-Fi password. Test stability over 24 hours; most disconnect issues resolve immediately.
