About this driver
The Epson EcoTank ET-2800 is one of the most popular all-in-one printers (print + scan + copy) thanks to its refillable ink tanks instead of cartridges. Like most modern Epson printers, Windows 10/11 detects it automatically over Wi-Fi and installs a basic driver — but you'll want the full Epson driver for scanning, ink monitoring, and advanced print settings.
Epson offers two installer options: Easy Install (full package, ~32 MB) for most users, or driver-only download for advanced users. The Easy Install includes Epson Scan 2 (scanner driver) and Epson Software Updater. We recommend it for first-time setup.
Common ET-2800 issues: scanner not appearing in apps (Epson Scan 2 not installed), printer offline despite working Wi-Fi (driver re-install fixes), and double-sided printing not available (it's not — ET-2800 is single-sided only).
Installation steps
Download Easy Install Package
Visit epson.com/Support, search 'ET-2800', choose Drivers & Downloads. Pick your Windows version. Download 'Recommended For You: Drivers and Utilities Combo Package Installer'.
Connect Printer to Wi-Fi First
On the printer's display, navigate to Wi-Fi Setup → Wi-Fi Setup Wizard. Choose your network, enter password. Print a network status sheet to confirm the printer has a valid IP.
Run Installer
Run the downloaded installer. Choose 'Wireless connection' when prompted. The installer auto-detects the printer on your network. If detection fails, enter the IP from the network status sheet manually.
Test Print and Scan
After install: open any document → File → Print → ensure 'EPSON ET-2800 Series' is selected. Open Windows Fax and Scan or the Epson Scan 2 app to test scanning.
